Virgin America Music Video - The Apple War

When the ultra hip and totally fun to fly new airline, Virgin America launched it’s non stop service from Los Angeles to Seattle this April; they decided to celebrate Seattle’s unique indie music capital status by holding a battle of the bands contest with undiscovered local Seattle bands. The public voted and chose two finalists who went on to compete in the battle of the bands at The Showbox at the Market. Judges included music luminaries Jerry Harrison of the Talking Heads, Joe Scoleri of Hollywood Records, actor and musician Lukas Haas and others.
The winning band, The Apple War, received the grand prize, a music video directed by yours truly for their new song Alarm Bell City! The video will premiere on all Virgin America flights this summer and be available as part of Virgin America’s in-flight music video library on RED, their super cool entertainment system at every seat.

My Heinz Ketchup commercial, “Heinz Magician” was a runner up for the Heinz Top This TV Challenge. Thanks to everyone who voted!
